Westbury, New York, is where it starts. In third grade I won the spelling bee, and the Long Island Herald covered it. Photography started there too, with my mom's iPhone and anything the afternoon light made look different.
Then came Ohio. I went to Hilliard Davidson High School, played hockey, and graduated with an honors diploma. Through College Credit Plus I took college courses while still in high school, and those credits later earned me an associate degree in finance from Columbus State.
In 2016 I started at Kroger in Dublin as a courtesy clerk, bagging groceries and pushing carts. By the time I left in 2019 I was a front end leader, helping run a team of about 50 associates and reconciling the registers. Along the way I was named employee of the month and posted the highest individual sales in the annual MDA Shamrock fundraiser.
In 2019 I moved to Cap City Fine Diner, a Cameron Mitchell restaurant in Dublin, as a host, food runner, and server assistant.
I started at Fisher College of Business in 2019, and that December I found FinMango. I wrote about how that happened in How Passion Creates a Domino Effect. On campus I was vice president of marketing for the Personal Finance Club.
In 2020 I started researching sustainable finance for Gen Advisory, an advisory firm in Sydney, and wrote two pieces for them: EU Taxonomy on Sustainable Finance and ASFI Sustainable Finance Roadmap: Summary and key insights. I also volunteered as a research contributor for Altiorem, a sustainable finance library.
For more than 18 months I was a research contributor to FinMango's COVID-19 Open Data project with Google Health, which was later published in Nature. FinMango thanked that group of volunteers by name.
I worked as an associate banker at Chase, interned at Amazon and Gateway Genomics, and graduated in 2023 with a finance degree and an economics minor.
I joined HAAS Alert as its only financial analyst, then paid the billboard photographers at Orange Barrel Media, then joined the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission in 2025. FinMango picked me as one of five people to lead its ambassador initiative, and in 2025, after six years as a special projects and volunteer intern, I joined its advisory board.
I also published an ebook, filmed the Ohio State Fair for ab0614 with Bridgette Kidd, and in September 2026 The New York Times quoted me on when young adults should take over their own bills.
